I ordered my first take out meal here today. I'll not be ordering there again. I ordered some of my favorite dishes -twice cooked pork, broccoli beef, BBQ pork chow mien. The broccoli beef was ok. The pork dishes were terrible. I simply threw out the twice cooked pork after a few bites. It was that bad (a first for me). It had a strong chemical flavor. The vegis were over cooked massively. The chow mien was ok if you took out the pork!Taking a closer look at the pork it definitely looked orange on one side (the orange looked sprayed-on) and gray on the other.I'm new to the area - I hope there are better Chinese take out places here.

These guys are always serving and delivery very good chinese food. Their Chow Fun, Fried Rice, Beef Broccoli, Pot Stickers are the best! If you order more than $30 worth of items they give you a free item. They also deliver beer which is pretty nice. Always friendly and adequate delivery time. I will keep ordering from them as long as I live in the are.

i love this place!!! the food taste delicious!!! the resturant has pretty chinese art and is kinda big. its family owned. i rather eat here than corporate panda express.the prices are moderate to cheap. the sweet and sour soup is the best here.they do take 4ever to deliver bc they deliver to anywhere. they are located next door to ihop on foothill. FYI when u order delivery: order easy foods like ricem chow mein, soup, chk wings. bc if u order complicated ass unique hard to make dishes on delivery, too much time passes and the foods texture change it sits in the juices and u cant really send it back...they have $5.50 weekday lunch specials that come w soup and tea...and when u order a large take out order they give u a free mini side dish.

Umm, never again. I saw that they serve xiao long bao and my curiosity got the best of me. It took about an hour for them to delivery and the wait was not worth it. The dumpling wrapper was thick, the pork was tough and there was no soup inside. Not to mention, the taste was bland. It was definitely not worth the money I paid. No thanks and I'll pass on this one.

Dumplings was awesome here. Fried rice was good, general's chicken was good, salt and pepper pork was okay. Definitely coming here again for the dumplings.

This is my family's favorite "let's get Chinese!" place. Not the best place for, say, Rehearsal Dinner or 40th Birthday Party, but excellent standard fare. The owners and wait-staff are nice and they give me free food all the time. They will also do custom dishes if you're clear about what you want. For instance, I like a good green bean and wok-fried tofu in black bean sauce dish. It's not on the menu, but they make it every time I ask, and they price it at an average of their menu dishes. The Dim Sum's also a nice touch; I can't get to Yank Sing very often, but I don't need to since they have my absolute favorite Sesame Balls at Great River. Yay! And now, I think I'll call in an order for their quick delivery ... :)

We dropped in on a Saturday mid-afternoon at a time when there was only one other banquet table of diners. The hostess was cheerful and very welcoming. When we were ready, she promptly took our order, so sweet when I tried to dust off my long-neglected Mandarin. We ordered a really mixed selection: braised eggplant, crispy duck, steamed pork dumplings and pork/Chinese chive dumplings. Unlike a lot of restaurants where everything is prepared in advance (vegetables cut, sauces pre-mixed, etc.), it was clear that everything was made to order. Sure, this takes a bit longer, but it was worth the wait. Here is an evaluation of each dish:Braised Eggplant: I haven't had it done right in so long, that this brought mews of pleasure. The large chunks of eggplant and green onions were beautifully charred, and combined with a few shreds of bamboo shoot and mushrooms. Praise be - the sauce was not that sickly sweet cornstarch-gummy crap that is so common to this dish.Pork/Chinese Chive Dumplings (jiu cai jiaozi) : The portion was generous and had an excellent handmade skin of the correct texture and thickness. Again, praise goes to the cook who created a pork-heavy filling that wasn't super-saturated with salt and sugar. The chives were cut large enough to actually contribute nicely to the overall texture.Steamed Pork Dumplings (xiao long bao): These were good but not great. They were meaty enough and seasoned well, but we didn't receive the obligatory 2nd degree burns resulting from the exploding juice upon first bite. I didn't expect perfection here and find that most places screw them up.Crispy fried duck: This was clearly cooked to order. The texture was dense as duck should be, with a suitably crisp skin. Much to our delight, it wasn't the usual super-saturated super-sweet 5-spice clogged stuff that you usually find. No, you could actually taste the duck meat! And surprise! There was absolutely no oil on the plate or on the bony undersides of the duck pieces.White Rice: Yes, this deserves a review. We often neglect to recognize that the rice is not just a carrier for sauces and a means of filling up. Flavor and texture matters. So often it is served in restaurants overcooked or undercooked, and of an unpalatable texture. This was simply good, 'nuff said.Tea: Aha, no crappy Oolong here! Inside the pot was a cloth sachet of a decent tea with what tasted like toasted rice. We'll be back.

Their food is fairly good, there are so many chinese restaurants around these days and they all seem to have their own good and semi good dishes and their prices are usually about the same. I usually order from here when I have company ...?
